I’m a mechanical engineer with a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
I have been working in industry for over 7 years, amassing a wide range of experience in mechanical and system design as both a sole contributor and in multi-departmental programs. As well, I have experience in program management, and both analysis and hands-on/assembly work involving of parts ranging from micro-molded optics to several-hundred pound castings. “Passing something off” isn’t in my vocabulary.
From grade-school through college and during my first few years in Boston, I ran a small business designing and manufacturing backpacking equipment, learning valuable skills related to marketing, accounting, business growth successes and struggle strategies. The skills and experiences I gathered running my own venture are a valuable addition to what I can offer to assist new programs and engineering designs.
My key interests outside of my professional life include sports – triathlon, skiing, hiking included, travel and photographing my adventures, and computers/technology. I live with my wife and our chocolate lab in Arlington, MA. I am an avid griller in both the warm and cold months, and enjoy spending time in taking my passion for engineering and applying it throughout my life and home.
